Think twice before threatening Nigeria – Fani-Kayode warns Mali, Burkina Faso
Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has issued a warning to some countries, including Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso, urging them not to take Nigeria lightly and think twice before threatening it with war.
Fani-Kayode emphasized that Nigeria has shown immense strength in confronting and containing terrorist organizations like ISWAP and Boko Haram, as well as the separatist movement IPOB and its Eastern Security Network (ESN).
He highlighted that Nigeria remains undeterred and resilient.
Expressing his concern, Fani-Kayode disapproved of videos showing soldiers from Niger, Burkina Faso, and Mali marching and chanting war songs against Nigeria while being encouraged by French-speaking crowds who also cursed the Nigerian president.
In a detailed post on his social media account, Fani-Kayode stated, “We are a peace-loving people who are kind, compassionate, hard-working, and accommodating.”
He further asserted the economic strength of Nigeria, pointing out that Lagos State alone surpasses the combined economy and GDP of all the African countries ruled by military dictators, including Mali, Burkina Faso, Chad, Sudan, Guinea, and Niger Republic.
