Nigerian Troops Launches Successful Air Strikes, Decimates ISWAP Hideouts In Borno

In a significant operation against the Islamic State of the West African Province (ISWAP), the Nigerian Military has dealt a severe blow to the terrorist group by destroying their hideouts and eliminating numerous fighters in the North East region of Marte, Borno State.

The successful airstrikes were carried out following credible human intelligence reports and extensive aerial surveillance missions that revealed the substantial presence of ISWAP militants in KOLLARAM and ARINNA CIKI.

Zagazola Makama, a renowned Counter-Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in the Lake Chad area, received information from reliable intelligence sources regarding the events of July 15, 2023. Witnesses observed two Nigerian Air Force (NAF) jets flying over ARINA CHIKI in the evening, dropping bombs on the terrorist stronghold in the Lake Chad region.

According to the sources, additional reports indicated that a group of terrorists attempting to cross the Lake on canoes near Kirta Wulgo were intercepted and targeted by the fighter jets. The aim was to prevent their reunion with their comrades at TUMBUN REGO, as they planned a possible attack on a nearby military checkpoint.
