A popular socialite and skincare entrepreneur from Lagos State, named Farida but popularly known as King Phreedah, made an attempt to end her life at the Third Mainland Bridge on Thursday.
FRESHREPORTERS MEDIA learned about Farida’s personal struggles, particularly concerning her marriage which has apparently come to an end. According to online sources, it’s been alleged that her husband left their marital home to be with a woman he had been seeing prior to their marriage.
Amidst the ongoing discussions about her marital crisis, videos shared by Goldmyn TV have captured the moment when concerned individuals intervened to prevent Farida from taking her own life on the Third Mainland Bridge.

Fatal Clash Between Police and Bandits in Katsina Community
In a separate incident, a fatal confrontation occurred as Katsina State police officers engaged in a shootout with bandits on the run.
Katsina’s police spokesperson, ASP Abubakar Sadiq, confirmed the incident through a statement released on Thursday.
FRESHREPORTERS MEDIA reports that the bandits had earlier attacked a village called Korogo in the Daddara District of Jibia Local Government Area, stealing a number of sheep.
Upon receiving the information, the DPO of Jibia quickly assembled a team of officers who confronted the bandits in a fierce gun battle.
