Uche Maduagwu Slams Pete Edochie Over Actresses’ Marriage Comment, Says “Focus On Your Child’s Marital Issues”

Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, expressed his disagreement with Pete Edochie’s recent comments about the failed marriages of some actresses.

Pete Edochie had voiced his concern about the rate at which Nollywood actresses end their marriages, mentioning names like Chioma Chukwuka, Tonto Dikeh, and Ireti Doyle.

Pete Edochie in his words said: “If you come to our Industry today, most of our girls who got married 2- 3 years ago have all left their husbands, from beginning to end. I was shocked that Chioma Chukwa had left her husband, Ireti Doyle, Tonto Dikeh. You take a vow when you are going to get married for better or worse, not for better or out. You will always think it’s greener on the other side; that is the mistake we all make.”

However, Uche Maduagwu believes that Pete Edochie should focus on the marital issues of his own son, Yul Edochie, instead of criticizing other actresses.

He mentioned that Yul has been actively posting videos with his second wife, Judy, on social media, while May, Yul’s first wife, is mourning the loss of their first son.

Uche Maduagwu expressed his feelings about the matter, saying, “Marriage is supposed to be enjoyed, not endured. I was deeply moved after watching Sir Pete’s interview. It felt insensitive to me. He should have focused on his son’s actions in marriage instead of criticizing actresses like Tonto Dikeh, Aunty Ireti, and Chioma, who have found fulfillment and spiritual prosperity.”…[CONTINUE READING HERE]
