President Tinubu’s Meeting with APC Professional Forum BoT: A Focus on Economic Revitalization

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reassured Nigerians of his strong commitment to invigorate the nation’s economy, leaving no stone unturned in the pursuit of various initiatives aimed at driving growth.

This resounding affirmation came during a meeting with the Board of Trustees of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Professionals Forum, which was spearheaded by the former Governor of Bauchi State, Isa Yuguda. The meeting took place at the State House in Abuja on Friday.

In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu emphasized his government’s dedication to orchestrating an economy that serves the collective welfare of all Nigerians.

To ensure a consistent trajectory of measured expansion and to enhance public awareness regarding policy outcomes, President Tinubu highlighted that all endeavors spanning different sectors will be meticulously documented.

This documentation will undergo periodic evaluations to ascertain their performance and will be presented to the public for transparency and accountability.

President Tinubu’s engagement with the APC Professional Forum BoT underscores a staunch commitment to fostering economic growth and ensuring that the nation’s progress remains an open and verifiable process.

He said: “This economy must recover for the good and greatest number of Nigerians, and we are seriously committed to seeing through a change for the better.

“So far, we have taken some baby steps and pushed some aggressive positions.”

In his remarks, Yuguda thanked President Tinubu for his bold interventions in the economy, adding that the Forum look forward to better security that will attract investors,

He said more than two million people had been registered as professionals in different fields since 2018 and stood ready to provide structures for mobilisation and sensitization on government policies.
