You’re Not Called Ijele Odogwu For Nothing – Yul Commends Judy For Defending Him

Nollywood star Yul Edochie has expressed his gratitude to his second wife, Judy Austin, for her unwavering support and defense of his mourning process.

On Friday, July 21, Judy Austin shared a video on social media in which she strongly responded to Nigerians who accused Yul of not mourning his first son, Kabilichukwu, adequately.

Kambili, the late teenager and Yul’s first son, tragically passed away in March of this year. Since then, the actor has faced criticism from some sections of the Nigerian public who believe he returned to work and social media too soon after his son’s death. They argued that Yul should have taken more time to mourn the loss of Kambili.

In the video released by Judy Austin, she passionately defended her husband’s right to grieve in his own way and urged Nigerians to be more understanding. She called upon critics to show empathy and suggested that they should not judge others’ mourning process unless they have experienced a similar loss themselves.

However, some Nigerians, including actor Uche Maduagwu, have countered Judy’s stance, asserting that she has no right to speak on the passing of Kambili since he was born by Yul’s first wife, May.

Despite the divided opinions, Yul Edochie took to his Instagram page to express his appreciation for Judy’s show of support.

He shared the video in which she defended him and captioned it with heartfelt words, “You’re not called Ijele Odogwu for nothing. May the heavens reward and bless you, @judyaustin1. Thank you for the support.” (CONTINUE READING HERE)>>
