Woman Allegedly Dîes by Suïcîde After Fiancé Calls Off Wedding

A young woman, identified as Don Christabel, has reportedly died by suicide after her fiancé allegedly cancelled their impending wedding, casting a pall of sorrow over her community.

Details shared by a local Facebook user, Vivian Ifeoma Idoko, indicate the wedding had been scheduled to occur imminently before it was abruptly called off. Friends and neighbours noted that Christabel was severely impacted by the cancellation and exhibited signs of significant emotional distress in the days preceding her death.

She was later discovered unresponsive and was rushed to a medical facility, where she was pronounced dead.

Authorities have launched a preliminary investigation to determine the precise sequence of events. The deceased’s family is now in mourning as the community grapples with the tragic loss.
