Fuel supply constraints that are currently being faced in certain regions of the country have been resolved, according to the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.).
According to NNPC Ltd., the problems stemmed from logistics-related issues.
Olufemi Soneye, the Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPC Ltd., revealed the information on Thursday in response to the situation.
Soneye reiterated that the prices of petroleum products were not changing. He stated:
“The NNPC Ltd. wishes to clarify that the tightness in the supply of PMS currently being experienced in some areas across the country is as a result of logistics issues and that they have been resolved.
“The NNPC Ltd. urges Nigerians to avoid panic buying as there is a sufficiency of products in the country.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]
