Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived at the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) within the Office of the National Security Adviser for a validation workshop on Nigeria’s newly developed Anticipatory Action Framework.
The workshop aims to improve coordinated risk monitoring and communication strategies for natural disasters, with a particular focus on flooding.
It is set to bring together technical experts, policymakers, and international development partners to finalize a strategic framework intended to transform Nigeria’s disaster response model.
The event was announced in a post by the Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Communications, Stanley Nkwocha, on Wednesday, 16th of April 2025.
The post reads:
