Two further attempts at communal violence have been thwarted by the Nigerian Army troops of Operation SAFE HAVEN in the Manchock General area of Kaura LGA, Kaduna State.
The soldiers engaged in aggressive patrols in flashpoints and dangerous regions within the Mangu, Barkin Ladi, and Barkin Ladi and Bokkos LGAs on the plateau as part of their ongoing sting operation to drive out criminal groups on the plateau and its surroundings.
The military stopped the two attempted attack after reacting to a distress call about attempted attacks by unknown individuals at Manchock General area in Kaura LGA of Kaduna State.

Later, in Mangu LGA of Pleteau State, the forces captured a 25-year-old man named Mr. Bukus Micah, who had one Ak47 magazine filled with ten rounds of 7.63mm St Panyam.
