Nine people who were operating as Nigerian Army (NA) soldiers and committing crimes that jeopardize the peace and security enjoyed in Lagos State and its surroundings have been successfully captured by Headquarters 81 Division of the NA.
Mr. Abua Jacob, Mr. Solomon Abraham, Mr. Mohammed Jemilu, Mr. Michael Omieh, Mr. Dauda Samuel, Mr. Bida Musa, Miss Esther Audu, and Miss Vivian Titus were identified as the imposters that were paraded to the media on March 13, 2024, at Headquarters 81 Division NA, Victoria Island Lagos.
These individuals have been taken into custody on a number of charges, including unauthorized security services, performing escort services while disguising themselves as military personnel, and more. Their acts have damaged the Nigerian Army’s respected reputation in addition to jeopardizing civilian safety.
On February 7, 2024, in Alaba International Market in Ojo Lagos, a dismissed soldier named Mr. Abua Jacob was taken into custody for impersonation. In different incidents, dismissed soldiers Mr. Solomon Abraham, Mr. Michael Omieh, Mr. Mohammed Jemilu, and Mr. Dauda Samuel were all taken into custody for the same offenses.
Furthermore, during operations along different routes in Lagos, Miss Vivian Titus and Miss Esther Audu were taken into custody for impersonation. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
