Three persons d!es after walls coll@psed on them at a d£molition site in Enugu

No fewer than Three persons reportedly lost their lives at the demolition site scene for the proposed Enugu Central Station along Ogui-Market Road in the Enugu North Council Area of the state.

Reports gathered by Freshreporters Media noted that the deceased, who were said to be scavengers, were reported to have di£d when walls of demolishing property fell on them.

It also gathered that two persons di£d on Friday while one other person di£d on Saturday in a similar manner.

An eyewitness said the two who di£d on Friday, were evacuating some properties in one of the houses where occupants were chased out when a earth moving equipment knocked the house and the wall fell on them.

The eyewitness stated,

“They were rushed to the Mother of Specialist Hospital but regrettably on getting to the hospital doctors pronounced them d£ad.

On Saturday, around 11:30am another person was hit and k+lled by falling debris from one of the several storey buildings,” the source said.

Confirming the development, a senior police officer told the newsmen that:
