The 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland was put to rest at his ancestral home in Aliwo on Friday afternoon.
The two-year reigning king, who passed away on Thursday night at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, at the age of eighty-one, went to be with his ancestors following a brief illness.
Alhaji Abdulganiyu Agbotomokekere, the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, led the Muslim faithful in prayer for the late king before to his internment.
Dignitaries at the event include the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Bayo Lawal who led executives of the Oyo state government, Elder Wole Oyelese, Alhaji Daud Akinola and junior brother of the deceased, Kola Balogun among others. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
