Adamu Abdulwahab, a suspected kidnapper, was apprehended by men from the Kaduna State Police Command at Ganga Uku Village, Mararaban Jos.
A search of the suspect’s home turned up a rifle, a fake pistol, two Dane guns, six live rounds, one discharged GPRG round, seven discharge cartridges, and a bloodstained cutlass, according to a statement made public by the command’s spokesperson, ASP Mansir Hassan.
‘’It was revealed during the investigation that Mr. Adamu Abdulwahab, 35 years old, in connivance with other suspects who are currently at large, had kidnapped Mr. Samaila Abdullahi, 40 years old, of Keke Kingdom, Mararaban Jos, on February 13, 2024, at approximately 1400hrs. The victim was forcefully taken to an unknown destination.” the spokesperson said.
The statement further stated that the suspect is now being held, assisting with continuing inquiries, and offering crucial information to help law enforcement apprehend the remaining offenders. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
