Nuella Accuses Carter Efe of Abüse, Control, and Sabotaging Her Career

Nuella has issued an emotional public statement, accusing her partner and father of her child, comedian Carter Efe, of a pattern of abusive and controlling behavior. She stated she never imagined having to discuss her private life publicly but felt compelled to respond to his claims.

Contradicting Carter’s assertions that they are separated, Nuella said they were together just three days ago. She alleged that she must personally approach him to obtain financial support for their child. Further, she accused him of sabotaging her independence and career, claiming he stopped her from working, forced her to abandon her acting dreams, and falsely accused her of misconduct to prevent her from working at a hospital.

Nuella described a strategy of isolation, alleging Carter blocked her female friends and cut her off from her family, leaving her with no one to confide in. She expressed shock over a video he posted involving her friend’s brother.

She revealed a direct threat from Carter earlier that day: he allegedly told her he would post content labeling her a “prostitute” and vowed to “ensure she never posts online again,” claiming he built her platform and could destroy it. She concluded her statement by simply saying, “God knows everything.”
