The Nigerian film industry is mourning the loss of popular petite actress, Aunty Ajara, who has passed away after a battle with liver disease.
The actress had been unwell, prompting her colleagues to launch a public appeal for financial support for her medical treatment just last week.
Earlier this week, a fellow actress, Mama Nonetwork, provided an update, stating that Aunty Ajara’s condition was not improving. She also disclosed that it had been discovered the ailing actress was pregnant. According to Mama Nonetwork, the pregnancy was identified in December, and Ajara was urgently advised to seek medical care due to her already fragile health.
It was announced with great sadness this morning that Aunty Ajara has passed away.
