Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos state on Wednesday was present at the service of commemoration in honour of late English Monarch, Queen Elizabeth II at The British Residence, Ikoyi.
The Lagos governor who took his Facebook handle also signed the condolence register.
Sanwo-Olu speaking on the late UK monarch, he stated “Queen Elizabeth II lived a remarkable life of service and devotion to duty from her first day on the throne till the very last hour.”
He added that “On behalf of the good people of Lagos, we pray for the Royal Family and it is our desire that the reign of King Charles III will strengthen stronger relationships and partnerships between UK and Nigeria and the world,”.
