Atiku Using My Proposal Without Consent, Economist Claims, Threatens Legal Action

Dr. Odilim Enwegbara, a Development economist, has claimed that Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is using his economic proposal without his consent.

While speaking in an interview with the newsmen on Wednesday, Enwegbara revealed that he helped Atiku to write an economic development proposal called ‘A Trillion Dollar Economy In Four Years’ before the last, 2019 presidential election.

The economist further said that he may sue Atiku for continuing to use his brainwork without his consent.

According to him “Three or four months before we did election, I was approached to help Atiku put together an economic blueprint, which I did. It was voluminous. Everything you can think of on how to revive Nigeria’s economy. It was called, ‘A Trillion Dollar Economy In Four Years.’ Atiku was appreciative. Everyone was happy. It was detailed.

“The only thing that is unfair is, Atiku has not approached me to ask my consent even to continue to use that document.

“It is unfortunate as I might ask my lawyers to get back to him and ask him how on earth are you using my document? That is by the way. Nigeria needs more than that.”
