Youth members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State have raised and presented a ₦100 million cheque to Governor Ahmed Ododo, designated for the purchase of President Bola Tinubu’s nomination form for the 2027 presidential election.
The presentation took place at a “Youths Endorsement Rally” in Lokoja on Sunday. The National Youth Council of Nigeria President, Babangida Onimisi, stated the donation signifies the youth wing’s formal backing of President Tinubu for a second term, praising his leadership and ongoing reforms.
Several APC youth leaders addressed the crowd, commending the policies of both President Tinubu and Governor Ododo for their positive impact on young people nationwide. Kogi APC Chairman Abdullahi Bello endorsed the initiative and called for political continuity.
In response, Governor Ododo thanked the youths for their support and pledged to deliver the cheque to the President. He framed the upcoming 2027 election as a critical choice between continued progress and empty rhetoric. Hundreds of young APC supporters from across Kogi State’s 21 local government areas attended the rally.
