I Have Another Son Called Dawson – Singer Davido Reveals

Nigerian music sensation David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed that he has a younger son following the tragic loss of his late son, Ifeanyi.

In an interview with YouTuber Anas Bukhash, Davido interrupted the conversation about his daughters to share the news, stating, “I’ve a son too. Like, Ifeanyi has a little brother.” When asked about the boy’s name, he referred to him as Dawson.

The untimely demise of Davido’s older son, Ifeanyi, who drowned in a swimming pool at his father’s residence in Banana Island, Lagos, in October 2022, left the music star deeply devastated. In previous interviews, Davido expressed his profound regret over the loss, revealing that he misses his son every day and that tears well up in his eyes each morning.

During the interview, Davido also opened up about his past struggles and impulsive behavior. He confessed to selling his billionaire father’s television sets and almost selling his own Rolls Royce car in Atlanta.

Known for his generous nature, often giving money to his fans, the singer mentioned that if his father were to give him a million dollars, he would likely distribute everything before 9 p.m. on the same day.

As the youngest of five siblings, Davido revealed that he started accompanying his older brothers and sisters to nightclubs when he was just 15 years old, highlighting his early exposure to the nightlife scene.
