The tranquil atmosphere of Palm City Mobile Estates was shattered on Sunday when the San Juan Police Department responded to a distressing incident at approximately 2:30 p.m.
Authorities discovered the lifeless bodies of a man and a woman, outside a residence, sending shockwaves through the community.
A source familiar with the incident said the man reportedly killed his wife identified as Leeann Ramirez, before Killing himself.
The source further stated that the deceased couple left behind five kids.
San Juan Police Chief Leandro Sifuentes confirmed that the bodies were located on the patio area of the home, accompanied by a nearby shotgun.
Based on the preliminary findings, investigators are treating the case as a murder-suicide. Efforts are currently underway to interview witnesses who may shed light on the circumstances leading up to the tragic event.
