Husband Flees After Mûrdering Wife, Beth Mwangi, And Concealing Body Under Bed

In a shocking incident that has left the community of Joska in disbelief, Beth Mwangi, a 36-year-old salon owner and mother of three, has been found dead. The gruesome discovery was made by her two young sons, aged 11 and 8, who stumbled upon their mother’s lifeless body hidden under their parents’ bed. Authorities have confirmed that Beth was strangled to death.

Beth Mwangi’s life had been marred by a turbulent marriage, plagued by a dark secret. It was revealed that her husband had committed a heinous act, preying on their own daughter and subjecting her to molestation. The matter was taken to court, but it seems that justice was denied as Beth’s mother received compensation from her in-laws, and her husband allegedly managed to evade the consequences by bribing his way out of the situation.

Due to the persistent conflicts with her husband, Beth would often leave home for several days, only to return later. Last week, after yet another quarrel, she took her two sons to stay with their sister, who had already left home and started her own family. When Beth’s eldest daughter, N, noticed that her mother had failed to pick up the boys and that they hadn’t gone to school, she became concerned. She decided to check on her mother, and upon arriving home, she found her father but not her mother. Worried, she left the boys in their father’s care and departed.

It was during the night that the two young boys, left alone with their father, began to notice a foul odor emanating from their parents’ bedroom. Curiosity got the better of them, and they followed the smell, only to make the horrifying discovery of their mother’s decomposing body underneath the bed, surrounded by flies.

In a state of panic and confusion, the boys sought help from their neighbors, explaining what they had encountered. The authorities were immediately notified, and Beth Mwangi’s body was transported to Bahati Bukuku mortuary. Today, a post-mortem examination confirmed that she had indeed been strangled to death.

The main suspect in this brutal murder is David Kiarie, the husband of the victim. It has been reported that he fled the scene, taking with him crucial documents belonging to the deceased, including her phone and the children’s phones.

The authorities have identified his parents’ home in Muranga as a possible location, and an intensive manhunt is currently underway to bring him to justice.
