The website of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA has crashed amid the commencement of its recruitment exercise nationwide.
The anti-illicit drug had commence recruitment exercise via its portal on Sunday, and was expected to last for two weeks.
Checks on the website on Monday found that the agency’s website indicated ‘500 internal server errors’.
It was noted, for hours now, interested applicants cannot access the website due to the error.
Femi Babafemi Who is the Director of Media and Advocacy of the agency, confirmed the incident but explained that it was due to glitches resulting from traffic on the website.

According to him, the portal crashed due to massive numbers of applicants trying to access the platform.
He said, “The portal never crashed. There are glitches due to the huge number of applicants trying to access the platform simultaneously”
He added that technical team are working to restore normalcy back to the platform.
“but our technical team is resolving that before noon,” he added.
