Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has praised the Court of Appeal’s decision to remove Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State from office.
The appeal court upheld the verdict of the Tribunal, which removed Governor Yusuf, the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) candidate, from power following the March 18 governorship election.
In a judgment pronounced on Friday, a three-member appellate court panel confirmed Nasiru Gawuna of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the election.
Ganduje commended the appellate court for delivering justice in the Kano state governorship election dispute while addressing reporters in Abuja on Friday.
He added that he was confident Yusuf would seek his luck in the Supreme Court but warned him of another setback.
