It has been reported that people have criticized the Kogi State Governor-elect, Usman Ododo’s decision to kneel and present his Certificate of Return to Governor Yahaya Bello.
Ododo surprised many when he knelt down to present his certificate of return to the outgoing governor at the INEC headquarters in Lokoja, the state capital.
The ceremony was witnessed by party supporters, chieftains of APC, and Governor Bello.
However, some netizens have criticized the decision of Ododo, saying that the era of godfatherism is still very much alive in the country and has affected the nation’s politics badly.
