A Spanish judge has decided that Luis Rubiales, the former head of Spanish football, should go on trial for kissing Jenni Hermoso during their celebration of winning the world cup.
Judge Francisco de Jorge of Spain’s top criminal court, the Audiencia Nacional, ruled after his preliminary inquiry that Rubiales’s kiss “was not consensual and was a unilateral and unexpected move.”

In addition, he suggested placing three more people on trial for allegedly pressuring Hermoso, 33, ‘to make a public statement stating the kiss was consensual’: RFEF marketing chief Ruben Rivera, men’s team director Albert Luque, and former women’s coach Jorge Vilda.
Rubiales faces a maximum 4-year prison sentence if found guilty of sexual assault under Spanish law, which classifies non-consensual kissing as such. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
