Former Kogi state governor Yahaya Bello’s home in Abuja is now under lockdown by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The residence on Benghazi Street, Wuse Zone 4, Abuja, has mobility restrictions enforced by the anti-graft agency.
The incident occurs around one month after Alli Bello, the chief of staff to Kogi governor Usman Ododo, was named by the EFCC in an updated money laundering charges.
In the 17-count revised complaint, there are two defendants: Ali and one Daudu Suleiman. The Kogi government’s N100 billion was allegedly siphoned by the accused, according to the EFCC. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
