The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, has confirmed the arrest and confession of a hotel manager linked to the murder of a young lady in Owhelogbo, whose Point of Sale (POS) machine was earlier recovered at the hotel premises.
According to reports, the victim had visited the hotel to demand payment allegedly owed to her by the manager. However, the suspect reportedly killed her, accusing her of tarnishing his image.
In a chilling twist, he allegedly forced the victim to reveal the password to her POS machine, which he later used to collect a ransom payment before taking her life.
Edafe, in a post on his official X handle, stated that the remains of the young lady have been recovered by the police.
The caption reads:
“If we remember the Owhelogbo hotel murder case, where a POS of a missing girl was recovered from the manager of the hotel. On a very sad note, he has confessed that he murdered the girl who owns the POS. “
“She only went to ask the hotel manager for her money, and he murdered her because, according to him, she spoiled his reputation. He killed her and used her phone to call her father, demanding ransom. “
“He even used her POS to collect the money, extracted the password from the girl before killing her. Her remains have been recovered.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
