The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (retired), has issued a direct and stern warning to individuals providing any form of support to terrorists, bandits, and insurgent groups in Nigeria. He stated that President Bola Tinubu has authorized security agencies to pursue not only the criminals themselves but also anyone found aiding or backing them.
General Musa declared that such supporters risk being treated as direct accomplices and will face severe consequences. He urged these individuals to cease their activities immediately.
The Defence Minister also called on all law-abiding citizens to continue their support for the nation’s armed forces and security agencies. He emphasized the critical role of timely and actionable intelligence, encouraging the public to provide useful information to help combat criminal activities and restore peace and security across the country.
