A Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, Aderombi Adedayo Martin, popularly known as Dee One, has described his time on the reality show as “a mistake,” claiming it had “little impact” on his career.
The comedian, who was evicted after 22 days in the 2018 ‘Double Wahala’ edition, made the remarks in a recent interview.
Dee One argued that many former contestants are now “struggling financially,” insisting the show’s influence is often overstated.
He said,
“Big Brother Naija was a mistake that happened in my life. Big Brother did not really help me like that. There are a lot of people who went to Big Brother Naija who today are struggling with what to eat.”
He also took aim at fellow ex-housemates, advising season six winner White Money to “stick to cooking instead of music” and accusing Kiddwaya of “living a fake life.”
Dee One, known for his outspoken online persona, has engaged in feuds with celebrities including White Money, VeryDarkMan, Davido, and Phyna.
