Wow! Big news from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Saturday! They handed three points and three goals to our Super Eagles after that messy qualifier for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations against Libya.
With this ruling, the Super Eagles tighten their grip on the top spot in the group.
After four matches, Nigeria now sits comfortably with 10 points—four points ahead of their closest rivals, Benin.
As for Libya? They’re stuck at the bottom, holding just one lonely point.
A simple draw against Benin in Abidjan next month will be enough to punch Nigeria’s ticket to the 2025 AFCON, which Morocco is set to host in December.
