Former President Muhammadu Buhari has conveyed his deep sadness regarding the loss of multiple soldiers who were killed in an ambush followed by a helicopter crash in Niger State.
In a statement issued by his media aide, Malam Garba Shehu, yesterday, Buhari extended his condolences to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Armed Forces, and the families affected by this tragic event.
Expressing his sentiments, Buhari stated, “I am saddened by the helicopter accident following the tragic ambush in which we have lost our brave army personnel. My thoughts are with the bereaved families. I hope those injured recover at the earliest.”
