The All Progressives Congress (APC) has emerged victorious in the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency election with 34,580 votes, defeating the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which polled 11,491, and the African Democratic Congress (ADC), which secured 3,477.
The Social Democratic Party (SDP) managed 142 votes.
Similarly, in the Zaria Kewaye Constituency House of Assembly by-election, INEC declared APC’s Isa Haruna Ihamo as the winner after he garnered 26,613 votes.
His closest rivals were the SDP with 5,721 votes and the PDP with 5,331.
The dual victories further strengthen APC’s hold in Kaduna politics, with both federal and state constituencies swinging in its favor.
