‘….Anyways I’m Not Going Anywhere’, Davido Slams Critic Who Wished Him D€ath

David Adeleke, Nigerian music Star and a songwriter professionally known as Davido, has stated that he is going to live his life to the fullest after a Tweep wished him death.

Following the singer’s description of Burna Boy as a ‘new cat’ one of the Twitter user Identified as Winco_3 on Sunday morning shared a video from Burna Boy’s Netherlands show and said that Davido’s burial wouldn’t be crowded like the one in the clip.

The tweep wrote in broken English, saying,

“Even Davido’s burial that would be free can’t pack this crowd. Dey know ur mate.”

Reacting to this, Davido questioned what he had done and said he was not going anywhere but will live his life happily.

Davido wrote,

“So u want me to die? Reason being? What have I personally done to you to have you wish death on me? Anyways I’m not going anywhere! I WILL LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST.”

Meanwhile, Burna Boy cancelled the show scheduled to hold on Saturday due to reasons best known for him.

Fans and supporters of Afrobeats star, Burna Boy, also known as Odogwu have been left disappointed after the Grammy-award winning artiste announced that he won’t show up for his concert in the Netherlands.

The show was scheduled to be held at the GelreDome stadium on Saturday night but the singer disappointed them.

But in a statement on his Instagram story on Saturday night, the singer noted that he couldn’t come for the show due to a “number of reasons.”

He partly wrote,

“I’m hurt that I couldn’t see you tonight even though I really wanted to. We want to make sure you get the best ‘love Damini’ experience possible and that won’t have happened today for a number of reasons.

“My amazing team has been hard at work trying to salvage it but we couldn’t do it in time. I’ll be announcing a new date in a few hours so watch out for it!”

However, the music star came under fire for the cancellation as the hall was stated to have been full of his fans and supporters.

Sharing a video purportedly from the stadium, which showed thousands of fans waiting, a tweep, Identified as VellySlimKing, said,

“Burna Boy kept fans waiting for over 5 hours only to postpone his show in the Netherlands. This is really horrible.”

Also another tweep, Identified as Zebelonist, added, “Burna boy everyone was waiting😭. I’m f**king hurt man😭😭.”

An attendee, also known as Kenrick Stewart, who shared a video from the stadium on Twitter, wrote, “Live in Gelderland. No Burna Boy in sight.”
