Anti-graft Warns University Students Against Internet Fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC has warned Students of the Rivers State University against involvement in internet fraud related fraud activities.

The commander, ACE1 Ghali Ahmed, of the EFCC’s Port Harcourt Zonal Command, gave the warning on Thursday, 24th of August, 2023, at a Cyber Security Summit held at the Rivers State University, Nkpolu, Port Harcourt.

Ghali who spoke through ACE 11 Helen Nagberi advised students to shun short cuts to wealth and stay away from practices that could land them into trouble.

While expressing concern about the scourge of internet fraud, he urged the youth not to be a part of it.

Ghali further urged the varsity students to support the anti-graft agency in fighting Cybercrime, theft by being good ambassadors and role models both at home and in school. [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>
