Anger As Daughter Publicly Humiliates Her Own Elderly Mother (Video)

A young woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, is currently gaining attention on social media after reportedly engaging in a violent altercation with her own mother.

A video circulating online depicts the woman physically assaulting her mother and dousing her with cold water.

Shockingly, the footage also captures the woman forcibly removing her mother’s clothing, publicly humiliating her.

The elderly woman, said to be in her 70s, was left sitting naked on the ground as her daughter continued to subject her to abuse.

In response to this distressing incident, Amaka Obi, the Chairperson of Idemili South Council, expressed strong condemnation for the assault on the Abagana woman and called for a psychological evaluation of the daughter involved.

Hon. Obi Amaka Iyom, who also serves as the Transition Committee Chairman of Idemili South Local Government Area and the Convener of Women Initiative For Greater Anambra (WIGA), expressed deep sadness, describing the daughter’s actions as barbaric and repugnant. She emphasized that such behavior constitutes a crime against individuals, society, and humanity at large, stressing the need for collective efforts to combat it.

Having been made aware of the viral video containing disturbing images of an elderly woman being mistreated and humiliated by her daughter, Hon. Amaka Obi called upon the appropriate authorities to intervene and ensure that the daughter undergoes immediate psychological evaluation. Furthermore, she urged that the daughter face the consequences of her offensive actions.
