“You’re Doing an Excellent Job Fïghting Bándits and Térrorists” — Tinubu hails Ribadu

President Bola Tinubu has commended National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, describing him as “honest, bold, courageous and committed” in the ongoing fight against terrorism and banditry.

Speaking on Monday in Yola during the inauguration of projects completed by the Adamawa State Government, Tinubu praised Ribadu’s coordination of national security efforts, expressing confidence that Nigeria would overcome insecurity under his leadership.

“I must say clearly here that you are doing an excellent job, and we have seen the results. With you, we will defeat the bandits and terrorists,” the president said, adding that both he and the people of Adamawa are proud of the NSA, who hails from the state.

Tinubu’s endorsement comes amid heightened political tension between Ribadu and former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai. The situation has drawn increased scrutiny of the nation’s security leadership, even as the president continues to publicly affirm his confidence in Ribadu’s performance.
