Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso has dismissed speculation linking Rodrygo with a potential move away from the Santiago Bernabéu.
Speaking on Saturday, Alonso said he remains fully committed to the Brazilian forward despite ongoing summer rumors.
“I’ve seen him well and I count on everyone,” Alonso stated, before stressing: “I count on Rodrygo for sure, 100%.”
His remarks come amid reports of Arsenal’s interest in the winger during the current transfer window.
Rodrygo, who has been a key figure for Los Blancos in recent seasons, is expected to play an important role again under Alonso as Madrid chase both domestic and European success this campaign.
