A woman reportedly baths another woman with hot water over 8,800 naira loan on Tuesday evening in Delta state.
It was gathered from eyewitnesses that the dispute over the debt turned violent and the bystanders had to intervene.
Yesterday morning, the creditor opened her store for business as usual when the debtor arrived and poured boiling hot water mixed with kerosene and pepper on her.
Neighbors rushed the victim to Jovic clinic in Osubi before the police and army collaborated to arrest the assailant, who is currently detained at the Ororokpe police station. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
