A 31-year-old Zimbabwean woman, identified as Amina, has reportedly ended her life and the lives of her two children after a domestic dispute with her husband.
It was gathered that Amina reportedly poisoned her 10-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter by lacing yoghurt with rat poison, and also consuming the deadly substance herself.
The lifeless bodies of the mother and children were discovered in their rented room with two notes, one addressed to her husband.
In the letter, the deceased placed responsibility for her and the children’s fate on her husband and in the second note, she expressed apologies for her actions, citing exhaustion from life’s struggles and ongoing conflicts with her husband.
