WhatsApp Platform Records 25M Messages Per Second During World Cup Final – Mark Zuckerberg Reveals

Mark Zuckerberg, the Chief Executive Officer of Meta, has disclosed that the messaging platform, WhatsApp, reached a record of 25 million messages per second during the heated FIFA World Cup final on Sunday between the Argentina country and France.

Mark revealed this via his verified Facebook handle today, Tuesday.

The Meta boss also revealed that Lionel Messi’s World Cup post is the most liked in the history of Instagram.

Sharing the achievement via his Facebook handle, the CEO wrote, “Leo Messi’s World Cup post is now the most liked in Instagram history. WhatsApp also reached a record 25 million messages per second during the final.”
