What I Discussed With Traditional Leaders Across The Nation – President Tinubu

The Nigerian President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu revealed that he has asked the traditional rulers and their representatives from across the country to support during his ongoing administration.

He made the call during a meeting held at the State House Conference Centre, Abuja on Friday.

Tinubu revealed this in a post on his Twitter page on Friday.

The meeting is part of a series of engagements the president is having with key stakeholders since he assumed office on May 29.

He tweeted,

“I enjoyed my engagement, this morning, with a gathering of traditional rulers from across the country.

“In the course of our dialogue, I tasked them with supporting the administration’s efforts to ensure lasting peace and unity by promoting responsible behaviour and patriotism.”

The Nigerian President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, had on Friday, met with traditional rulers and their representatives from across the country at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja.

This comes after the president met with members of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, an assembly of the 36 State Governors, at the Presidential Villa on Wednesday, freshreporters reports.

In the meeting, dignitaries Present were; Vice President Kashim Shettima; the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume; the State House Permanent Secretary, Tijjani Umar; Emir of Kano, Obi of Onitsha, Tor Tiv, Etsu Nupe, Deji of Akure, Shehu of Borno, Elegushi of Ikate, Jaja of Opobo, Lamido of Adamawa, Emir of Zazzau, Gbong Gwom Jos, Attah Igala, Alake of Egbaland, Shehu of Borno and a representative of the Oba of Benin.
