We’ll Expand Our Investment, Reckitt Benckiser Assures Tinubu, Says Nigeria Is A Business Destination

The Nigerian President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu received assurances in Abuja from Reckitt Benckiser, a global consumer goods company, that they plan to expand their investments in the country.

He Made this known a meeting with a delegation from Reckitt Benckiser, led by the Chief Executive Officer, Kris Licht and Chairman of Reckitt Benckiser Nigeria Limited, Olu Falomo, President Tinubu praised the company for its more than 60 years of investment in Nigeria and dedication to the country’s development.

This was made known by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, and shared on his Facebook handle on Tuesday, 28th of May, 2024.

According to the statement, the Chairman of Reckitt Benckiser, Olu Falomo, said that the company’s global team has assured the Tinubu government of their full support, adding that they are not going anywhere.

President Tinubu assured investors of good returns on their investments, supported by a buoyant market and a large population.

Tinubu stated, ‘

“We are creating an environment for the private sector to thrive in. I am glad that you are here to stay for the long term. I am happy that you have been in the country for many years, and you have decided to invest more.

“We have embarked on challenging reforms to improve the economy. Our reforms will improve the ease of doing business for partners like you moving forward.”

Earlier in Licht’s remarks, as noted by the Freshreporters Media, he described Nigeria as an important country to the company.

He said,
