Vice President Kashim Shettima on Wednesday undertook an on-the-spot assessment of flood-affected areas in Mokwa Local Government Area of Niger State, as part of the Federal Government’s swift response to the recent disaster.
The Vice President met with victims and families impacted by the devastating floods, offering condolences and solidarity on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Federal Government.
Shettima also inspected the extent of damage to critical infrastructure and farmlands in Mokwa, a town widely regarded as Nigeria’s “home of grains.”
