Governor Oborevwori hosts Keyamo, commissions medical equipment, 10.9km of roads in Warri

Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Wednesday hosted the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, in Warri as he commissioned a state-of-the-art medical equipment at the Central Hospital and inaugurated several key road projects in Warri South Local Government Area.

In a post on the governor’s X handle, Oborevwori described the event as a milestone in the state’s efforts to strengthen healthcare delivery.

The newly commissioned medical equipment includes eight dialysis machines, 25 4D ultrasound scan units, orthopedic and theatre tools, and two CT scan machines, all aimed at enhancing the hospital’s capacity to treat patients with advanced medical needs.

Oborevwori’s post reads:

“Today, it was a pleasure to have my brother and friend, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo SAN, commission state-of-the-art medical equipment for the treatment of our people at the Central Hospital in Warri. The equipment includes eight dialysis machines, twenty-five 4D ultrasound scan machines, theatre and orthopedic equipment, and two new CT scan machines.

“At the Dialysis Unit of the hospital, I directed the Commissioner for Health to pick up the bills for thirty-two-year-old Mr. Benneth Ejiakor, who has been on dialysis for three years.

“Also today, in Warri South LGA, I inaugurated multiple intra-city roads totaling 10.9 kilometers in length and 9.03 kilometers of drains.

“The roads commissioned include: Central Hospital Road and the Link Road between the hospital and Police Command Road; Ogunu Bridge to Shell Gate, Warri; Upper and Lower Erejuwa, with drains on both sides; Esisi Road from Warri/Sapele Road to Estate Roundabout, with a spur to Nana College Road to link Ajamimogha, Warri, with drains; Ajamimogha/Mabiaku Link Road; Ogunu (Agogo) community main road and internal roads; Princess Agbajoh/Mike Dottie Street, Isaac Bolasan, and Creekview Layout Road in Ogbuwangue, Warri; Ope Street with a spur to Omene Street in Warri.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>>
