Veteran Actress Jumoke George’s daughter finally found in Mali after four years

Adeola, the 41-year-old daughter of veteran Yoruba actress Jumoke George, has been found in Mali after being declared missing for four years.

Her disappearance was first revealed by her mother during an emotional appearance on the ‘Talk to B’ show, hosted by actress Abiola Adebayo.

Jumoke shared that Adeola had been staying with her grandmother in Ibadan and was last seen after informing the family she was travelling to Lagos, only to vanish without a trace.

Jumoke later received a call from her daughter, who asked for forgiveness and explained that she had travelled abroad with friends in search of better opportunities.

During the same interview, Jumoke opened up about her personal struggles, including serious health challenges and financial hardship.

She said her condition had forced her to cancel acting jobs, refund payments, and borrow money for medical care.

She added that she still needed further medical tests estimated to cost around ₦400,000.

The actress also shared that whatever income she managed to earn went into searching for her daughter.

Fighting back tears, Jumoke said she kept her suffering private out of shame and fear of public judgment.

In a recent update shared on Wednesday, Biola Bayo announced that Adeola has been located in Mali.

Bayo revealed that she spoke with Adeola through a video call.

Although Adeola has yet to speak directly with her mother, Jumoke George expressed immense relief knowing her daughter is alive and safe.

Biola Bayo also confirmed that Jumoke is undergoing treatment at a state hospital in Lagos and awaiting additional medical assessments.

Sharing the details of her video call with Adeola on Instagram, Biola Bayo said “I finally got to speak with Adeola and this is what she said. She hasn’t called her mom, but Mom is happy she’s alive.

“#Jumoke George is currently at a state hospital in Lagos.
