Two Nigerian Men Arrested in Thailand for Alleged Cocaine Trafficking

Two Nigerian men were detained by Phuket, Thailand’s Tourist Police on suspicion of distributing cocaine.

The suspects, Harrison Chinonso Onyema, 40, and Ogadinma Promise Onyema, 41, were taken into custody on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at a hotel parking lot on the Kata Road in Karon, according to a statement released by the police over the weekend.

They were brought before the Karon Police Station to answer to the accusation of distributing cocaine, a category 2 illicit narcotic.

The second complaint against Mr. Harrison is that he entered and remained in the Kingdom of Thailand without authorization.
