The troops of the Forward Operating Base Molai, working with the Civilian Joint Task Force, Operation Hadin Kai, have successfully liberated four members of the Boko Haram family following an ambush at the terrorists’ logistical crossing point along the Yuwe-Komala road in Bama LGA, Borno State.
According to an intelligence source, during the counteroffensive patrol in Yuwe, the forces came into touch with the terrorists, sparking a fierce gunfight.
According to the sources, several Boko Haram militants were allegedly driven out of disorder, leaving behind their family’s homes and weaponry.
According to the reports, the rescued members were a 24-year-old mother named Aisha Usman and her three kids, Amina, who was two years and three months old, Hauwa, who was eight years old, and Binta, who was six.
Aisha Usman was forcibly abducted after Boko Haram stormed her house in HANTSA village in Gulak district Madagali LGA of Adamawa State in 2014, according to preliminary inquiry reports.
She was taken to the Boko Haram camp in Sambisa Forest, where she was forced into marriage to a terrorist and had three children.
