In a devastating turn of events, the lives of nine farmers were tragically cut short as armed bandits mercilessly attacked the peaceful community of Unguwar Danko, located near Dogon Dawa village in the Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Reports reaching FRESHREPORTERS indicate that the bandits launched their assault on Saturday afternoon, catching the unsuspecting farmers off guard while they diligently worked on their fields. Shockingly, the assailants not only took nine lives but also kidnapped three victims, whose fate remains unknown at present.
Yahaya Musa, the elected representative of the Kakangi Constituency, expressed his grief as he confirmed the heart-wrenching incident to Daily Trust.
He sorrowfully revealed that all those who lost their lives were hardworking farmers, and those wounded by the gunfire were rushed to nearby hospitals for urgent medical attention.

As of now, the state government and the Kaduna State Police Command have yet to issue an official response regarding this sorrowful incident.
