A final-year student at Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, has died in a traffic accident while rushing to retrieve his identification card after being barred from an examination hall.
The student, Idris Aremu Agboluaje, a 400-level Business Education undergraduate, was on his way to sit for his first-semester final-year exam. Eyewitness accounts, as reported by The Guardian, state that he was initially refused entry into the examination venue for failing to present his student ID card.
